What the heck happened with Pokemon Sun and Moon?
After the annoucement of Pokemon Sword and Shield (And Gun), it got me thinking. So here's the thing, I have finished EVERY single main Pokemon games... except for Pokemon Sun and Moon as well as the Ultras. I played it for maybe like 3 hours?... and got distracted by other games and never got back into it. I felt bad, I felt like I have let Pokemon down, I felt like a failure, I wanted to like Sun and Moon but the passion just wasn't there.. I just couldn't get into it compared with other games. So I kept it a secret because I felt shame, shame that I call myself a Pokemon fan. I then found out my friends hasn't finished Sun and Moon either.
You didn't think there was gonna be a part 2 did you? Neither did I, this is exactly like the ending of IT.

OK so with the prequel in mind that left us with a cliffhanger ending, what happened was Eric Stuart was at London Comic Con the week after, same place I was at over the weekend, I knew he was there but I couldn't leave my store to get a signature or show him the Brockoli artwork, as many of you said... Im a failure as a human being for not showing him Brockoli when I had the chance to.. So comes Sunday the last day of convention, I slammed the table hard was like OK IM GONNA DO I
They charge too much for art! Can't afford....? by Capukat, journal
They charge too much for art! Can't afford....?
This concept was first introduced to me years ago when I first started selling artwork and also occasionally having the spare funds to buy artwork.
At one point I had lowered prices when people could not afford to buy my work, etc. As a few friends have told me and I've come to realize myself, there should be absolutely no complaint over pricing of artwork.
Points to clear up:
- I very well understand when artwork has seemingly no effort put in but only sells well do to artist fame
- I also understand when branding raises the price of things like custom species/adopts more than "they should sell for"
- And I understand when people selli
Time for another update! There is now a deadline and a 2018 composition challenge is happening!
I'd like to take this chance to let participants know that this challenge will end on December 30th. On that day I'll be submitting the features during the day and I'll be able to keep adding to it as people submit their final entries.
I'd also like to announce that thanks to everyone's support and participation, I'll be hosting another composition challenge next year! I'll be publishing it on December 31st so I may make some changes to it between now and then, but here it is: 2018 Composition Challenge !

~ Hello hello, everyone!
I'm sae-midori (https://www.deviantart.com/sae-midori), one of the artists participating in the Rewritten Artbook. It's very lovely to meet you all!
As many of you know, I'm actively helping Vyndicare (https://www.deviantart.com/vyndicare) with the entire formatting of the artbook, which includes the design layout, proofreading, editing, and much, much more. For those with design experience, you'll know that this is a huge undertaking. And so I'm incredibly happy to see your unwavering patience and wealth of understanding as we toil away behind the scenes. But I know not everyone here has had the chance to compile a book or practice design, and so I realize that there's a lot of mystery that

It's been really fun coming up with designs somewhat matching your suggestions. They're extremely simple creatures, so that limits what you can actually do with them. That can be a great thing though! I find that setting limitations fuels my creativity a lot... My ideas tend to overflow otherwise. :giggle:
I'm sorry if you made a request and didn't get one - in the end I went with the first 31 comments, one for each day in December. Thank you all for showing interest in my silly creatures though
